Net Impact Brown Bag Lunch will feature Joyce Mihalik, Director of Energy Management for Forest City Enterprise. The event will be held in the BAWB Room 258. Free lunch will be provided Joyce's biography is listed below:
Joyce joined Forest City Enterprise in a newly created position as Director of Energy Management in 2005, working closely with the corporate Sustainability team. In this position, Joyce serves FCE by developing and implementing supply and demand side energy strategies for the commercial portfolio. Most recently, Joyce was with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company where she served as energy manager for their North American operations. Joyce also worked for NUS consulting, based out of New Jersey, where she provided consulting service to commercial and industrial users for energy and telecommunications cost control. Her previous experiences include 11 years with a gas distribution facility in Northeast Ohio in rates, regulatory, and the industrial sales division. Joyce also served as Vice President, Public and Business Relations for CAES Development Company, a Houston-based power plant developer and is a Certified Industrial Energy Consultant and a LEED Accredited Professional. Joyce holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a M.B.A. from the University of Akron. She resides with her children in Copley, Ohio.
