City Club: Business Leaders Series with Sue Helper

Sue Helper, PhD., Frank Tracy Carlton Professor of Economics, who most recently served as a senior economic advisor to the White House, and who is currently the U.S. Commerce Department’s chief economist, is set to visit the City Club of Cleveland for their Business Leaders Series on Friday, January 17, 2014.  

The City Club is the longest uninterrupted independent forum series in the country, renowned for its tradition of debate and discussion.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public are invited to join the forum. Registration is required to attend. 

More about Sue Helper
While on leave from the university, Helper, served for the past year as a senior economist at the Council of Economic Advisers, an agency within the president’s office. Her research at Weatherhead School of Management focuses on how global supply chains affect regional development and innovation in the U.S., Mexico and India.
