The Systems We Have Created Start with Our Ideas

Come hear Roger Saillant, Executive Director of the Fowler Center for Sustainable Value, Weatherhead School, Case Western Reserve University, present a three-part series examining our energy future using a whole systems approach that incorporates a moral and spiritual call to action.

April 9: Systems Thinking and Some Energy System Options. Explore all of the energy systems that are out there and examine their pros and cons as well as their system implications.

April 16: Flourishing Systems Begin with Flourishing Minds. How might we create inner flourishing and make healthier connections to create enterprises that lead to a flourishing world.

April 23: The Systems We Have Created Start with Our Ideas. How might we reconsider and frame our ideas differently to set new outcomes which could put us on a path toward a flourishing future.

ABOUT SAILLANT
Prior to Saillant’s appointment as Executive Director of the Fowler Center for Sustainable Value, he served in senior executive positions at The Ford Motor Company, Visteon Corporation, and, most recently, Plug Power where he was the CEO for more than seven years. He has led organizations as large as 10,000 people and has been responsible for operations in 19 countries. He presently serves on several NGO boards and the boards of two start-up companies in the energy field and speaks frequently on various environmental topics. He co-authored his first novel, Vapor Trails, in 2009 (available on Amazon.com).
