Commencement Regalia

How to wear your master's regalia

Students

Proper academic regalia (cap and gown) is required for graduates to participate in any commencement ceremony. All graduates are responsible for purchasing or renting their own Case Western Reserve University approved academic regalia. You can purchase and pick up your cap and gown at the University Bookstore (Barnes & Noble) in Uptown at Euclid and E. 115. You can also contact the University Bookstore by phone at 216.368.2650.

Regalia can also be purchased at the Weatherhead grad fair on April 5, 2016 in PBL 203 from 3 – 6 p.m.

Please do not wait until Sunday, May 15, 2016 to pick up your regalia if you plan to attend the commencement events.

Graduates are permitted to wear cords, stoles, medals or pins that recognize academic achievement. Symbols of social or fraternal organizations or of personal interest should not be worn.
