Commencement is a very special day when we celebrate the success of our graduating students. It is an enjoyable time to share with fellow students, faculty, family and friends.
Diploma Ceremony Speaker
The Weatherhead diploma ceremony speaker is Michael E. Gibbons, Founder and Senior Managing Director of Brown Gibbons Lang & Company.
Student Registration Information
Weatherhead graduate students will have to register for 3 commencement related events for participation and tickets. Each of these events are optional attendance. It is extremely important that you complete the registration for each of these events, even if you do not intend to participate in the commencement events. You must have a valid Case Western Reserve University Network ID (e.g. abc123) and password to register online.
Event 1 – Weatherhead Graduation Reception on Friday, April 28, 2017
Event 2 – University Convocation on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
Event 3 – Weatherhead Diploma Ceremony on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:30 p.m.

Veale Convocation Center
University Convocation is a limited ticket event. Each student participating and registered to attend the University Convocation will receive two guest tickets. The graduating student does not need a ticket to enter Veale Convocation Center.

The graduation reception is for the Class of 2017 - Weatherhead graduate program students to celebrate their success and achievements.

Tickets are required for this afternoon event; Students registered for the event will receive up to 3 guest tickets. The graduating student does not need a ticket to enter Severance Hall
This registration includes RSVP to Diploma ceremony and Weatherhead Graduation Celebration

University Grad Fair 2017

University Grad Fair 2017 is Case Western Reserve University's official “one stop shop” for all graduation information, services and products and promises “no hassle for your tassel” to members of the class of 2016 while you save time, money and begin your commencement celebration.
Weatherhead Grad Fair 2017
Wednesday, April 12, 2 – 6 p.m.
This fair allows students to gather information pertaining to convocation and diploma ceremonies. Convocation and Diploma ceremony tickets will be available for pick up. University Bookstore will be on-site to sell regalia.
April 12 – May 21
Graduation Announcements and convocation ceremony tickets will be available for pick up at the graduate student services office (PBL 150). Tickets may be picked up from Graduate Student Services office (PBL 150) anytime from Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.– 6:00 p.m. only. All envelopes not picked up will be available on Sunday, May 21, 2017 in the Graduate Student Services office (PBL 150) starting at 7:30 a.m.
