Healthcare Management Speaker Series: The Future of Digital Health: AI & Designhttps://weatherhead.case.edu/events/2021/04/08/the-future-of-digital-health
2020 brought about unprecedented change in the healthcare industry. Where will the technology go from here?
Join Weatherhead School of Management design & innovation professor Dr. Youngjin Yoo as he welcomes a prestigious panel of healthcare technology experts for a virtual discussion on the future of digital health: AI & design.
As we have seen the development of Covid-19 in record time, digital technology has a potential to radically transform healthcare. The use of artificial intelligence, smartphones, wearable devices, 3D printing, blockchain, and robots... the range of digital technologies that can be used to transform the way we diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases continues to grow. Yet, except a few bright spots, the evidence of transformative digital innovations in healthcare is still rare and sparse.
We invited three experts who work in the intersection of technology and design in digital health to learn (a) what is happening, (b) what are the major success stories so far, (c) what can be done to accelerate the digital innovations in healthcare, and (d) what are the most exciting opportunities that they see in the market now.
Meet our Panel:
Alex (Jun) Gao - Head of Digital Health Lab, Samsung Research America
Jeremy Beaudry - Lead Healthcare Experience Designer, Researcher, & Strategist, The University of Vermont Medical Center
Tae Hyun Hwang - Founding Member & Steering Committee of Cardiovascular Radiobiomics Artificial Intelligence Center, Cleveland Clinic Heart Center
