Join Weatherhead School of Management health economics professor Dr. Mark Votruba as he welcomes a prestigious panel of health policy experts for a virtual discussion on the implications of the upcoming election on the evolution of healthcare policy going forward.

These industry leaders will discuss what has transpired in health policy over the last four years and the challenges and opportunities each administration could face in the future. Hear their perspective on topics such the repercussions of overturning the Affordable Care Act, pharma price regulations, Biden's "Public Option" proposal and more. We will close the session with an open Q&A for you to engage the panelists and have your specific questions addressed.

Photo of David CutlerDavid Cutler, PhD, is a professor of applied economics at Harvard University. Cutler's work in health economics and public economics has earned him significant acclaim including being senior health care advisor for the Obama presidential campaign.

Photo of Glen MaysGlen Mays, PhD, is the chair and a professor in the Department of Health Systems, Management & Policy in the Colorado School of Public Health at CU Anschutz. Mays’ areas of expertise include health policy, preparedness, health systems and health economics.

Photo of Joseph AntosJoseph Antos, PhD, is the Wilson H. Taylor Resident Scholar in Health Care and Retirement Policy at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). Antos’ work focuses on the economics of health policy and the overall reform of the health care system.

Photo of Mark VotrubaMark Votruba, PhD, is an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University with positions in Weatherhead School of Management and the School of Medicine. Votruba’s research spans topics in labor economics, health economics and public finance.
