Students who meet the prerequisites below are invited to apply to attend the two-day, expenses paid*, Dean's Weekend for Specialty Masters Programs event at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management (WSOM) in Cleveland, Ohio. During this two-day Weatherhead immersion experience, prospective students will have the opportunity to network with the Weatherhead community as well as learn how we prepare you for "what's next".
Attendees will visit Key Bank in downtown Cleveland and have discussions with Key Banks leaders in Finance, Analytics, Operations and also hear from their Human Resources personnel about employment opportunities. Afterward, you will network with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and other industry leaders during the rest of the event through a variety of different activities. This is a fun and informative way to immerse yourself in your future options. Additionally, there will be time to have your formal admissions interview - even if you haven't completed an application yet. Qualified students will receive a minimum $10,000 scholarship for the MSM program with the opportunity to earn up to 100% scholarship.
To be considered to attend, simply click the "Register" link below and fill out the Google Form by February 12th. A member of the Admissions team will be in touch to determine your eligibility to attend the event. If you are extended an invitation to join, we will assist you with your formal registration and accommodations. WSOM will make the final determination on final attendees. Students must meet the following criteria for consideration:
- Graduate or upcoming 2020 graduate majoring in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, math, analytics, supply chain, engineering or related degrees. For this special event, interest or intent to pursue graduate studies beginning in fall 2020 is preferred
- 3.0 GPA or above in major courses
- Submitted interest or started graduate applications for WSOM programs. Students picked to attend this event will have their application fee waived
- Have taken or intend to take the GMAT or GRE by April 2020 and score at an acceptable level
*Accommodations are specific to scheduled activities and meals hosted throughput Dean's Weekend. Air travel up to $500 is available for those who are traveling more than 150 miles. Hotel accommodations are also available. Priority will be given to guests traveling long distances.
