KEVIN B. DUDGEON
“UNDEFINED - ACCOUNTING'S NOT WHAT IS USED TO BE”
Kevin joined PwC in Cleveland almost 14 years ago and currently serves as a director in the firm’s assurance practice. He is engaged with clients as part of the Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Services practice (ICRS) in a variety of industries and is responsible for leading new accounting standard implementation practices and providing PwC’s Software Solutions throughout the Midwest. The ICRS service line is a multi-disciplinary team assisting companies in building effective internal audit and risk management functions.
Prior to joining the ICRS team, Kevin spent many years in the firm’s external audit practice, leading audits of clients that have ranged in size from private companies with less than $200 million in revenues to SEC Fortune 150 companies. His coordination of engagement teams and clients has ranged from domestic clients composed of one centralized team to multi-national entities that required direction of multiple teams across the globe, including teams in Brazil, China, the Philippines, Australia, South Africa, and multiple European locations.
In addition to his role within the firm, Kevin is engaged with multiple other groups around Cleveland. He is the former Program Participation Chair for the Ambassador’s Committee to the Board of Directors for the First Tee of Cleveland and still sits on the Committee. He has also been a member of the Weatherhead School of Management’s Accounting Department Advisory Board for a number of years and currently is the leader of all engagement and recruiting activities between Case Western Reserve University and PwC.
Kevin was born and raised in Jamestown, New York where his parents, Bruce and Julie, still reside. He has a younger brother, Kyle, who lives near Orlando, Florida. Kevin is based in Cleveland and resides in Kirtland, Ohio with his wife, Karen, and their five year-old twin children, Marlena and Warner who will both be entering kindergarten in the fall. Kevin holds a B.S. in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Ohio and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. During his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing with his children, enjoying Cleveland restaurants, watching Premier League soccer and cheering on Cleveland sports teams.
