Becoming a Resonant Leader - Leadership Louisvillehttps://weatherhead.case.edu/events/2017/05/23/becoming-a-resonant-leader--
Great leaders move us by tapping into a basic human characteristic – our emotions. Although they talk of strategy and competition, truly great leaders establish a deep emotional connection with others called resonance. They are literally, in tune with others around them. Research has shown that exceptional leaders, executives and managers are not just smart or lucky, but more frequently rely on their emotional intelligence. Their own levels of emotional intelligence enable them to create and nurture resonant relationships and serve as a path to effective and enduring leadership.
This course will be led by Dr. Melvin Smith, Professor, Organizational Behavior, at Case Western Reserve University’s, Weatherhead School of Management.
