In the digital age, organizations collect and use an extensive amount of data to understand how various parts of their businesses, including customers, work and to formulate appropriate strategies. Marketers use data to understand and target their customers better, while others use data for facilities and energy management leading to more efficient and sustainable operations, or to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in numerous health care applications. Professor Niraj, whose research deals with both analytical and empirical modeling of marketing, will moderate a panel discussion on the different ways data is used and applied in the business world.
Following Big Data and Analytics, join Professors Niraj and Kamlesh Mathur for Preview & Planning: MSM-Business Analytics. They will discuss how the rising need for data analytics in the marketplace demands highly qualified professionals whose skills translate across industries, from operations to marketing and beyond. Weatherhead’s new master's degree in business analytics will train students for careers in data-driven industries while also preparing students with the business management skills necessary to succeed. Come share your experience in the field and learn more about this exciting program aimed at early- to mid-career professionals interested in careers in business analytics.
