An Evening with Anastasia Bukashe
Sponsored by: MPOD and The OD Connection
Date & Time: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Eastern)
Join us for an evening of inspiring conversation and stories from the field of OD with Dr. Anastasia Bukashe.
Dr. Bukashe is an alumna of the Case Western Reserve PhD program in Organizational Behaviour (1997-2004). As with many people, her doctoral studies formed part of a larger journey where Anastasia had the opportunity to more deeply explore a life curiosity. In her case this curiosity began with her involvement in the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa, and continued to be fuelled by her work in post-conflict reconstruction. It was at CASE that she began to develop a “generative constructionist approach to transforming identity-based conflict.”
Taking an Appreciative Inquiry approach to all her work, Anastasia will explore how a strengths based perspective can transform individuals and organizations even in situations which seem hopeless. She will share personal and professional stories of what it takes continue to believe that a just and compassionate society remains a possibility, should we dare to embrace it.
