About the Author
Kamil Michlewski was awarded a PhD by the School of Design at Northumbria University, United Kingdom, alma mater of Apple’s Chief Designer Johny Ive and IDEO’s Tim Brown. The academic program was supported by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In his academic capacity Michlewski has published on the role of design and designers in organizational settings, tacit knowledge, and aesthetics in organizational learning. He has presented at international conferences including the European Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies, Design Management Institute and European Academy of Design. Michlewski works at The Value Engineers—a strategic brand consultancy based with offices in the U.K. and the U.S. He advises a number of blue-chip clients on issues ranging from global consumer segmentation to brand strategy.
