5:00 p.m. - Reception to follow
George S. Dively Building
The Andrew D. Braden Professor of Accounting and Auditing is the first chair for the accountancy department at the Weatherhead School of Management. Established by Edward P. Hemmelgarn to honor the teaching of his beloved professor, the endowment grew with the support and generosity of many Weatherhead alumni, friends and colleagues of Andy's. It pays tribute to his many contributions to the accounting profession and honors his 40 years of teaching accountancy at Case Western Reserve University.
An endowed chair is the highest honor a prominent faculty member may receive for their leadership, scholarship, and service, and is one of the most meaningful and permanent investments donors can make to a university.
Please send your congratulatory remarks to Professor Taylor, the Braden family, or our Accountancy Department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please RSVP by January 20.
Valet parking will be available at the Dively Building.
