Adaptation and Family Business Sustainability
Michael J. Horvitz, Attorney, prominent business leader, generous philanthropist and Founder of H.R. Horvitz Chair of Family Business joins Weatherhead faculty and alumni for a breakfast seminar focused on strengthening family businesses. Michael brings an extensive background of advising family businesses and will share his vision on how research can have a transformational impact on the future of family business.
The panel will be moderated by Richard Boyatzis, PhD, Distinguished University Professor, Departments of Organizational Behavior, Psychology, and Cognitive Science, H.R. Horvitz Chair of Family Business, Case Western Reserve University. Using his well-established Intentional Change Theory (ICT) and complexity theory, Richard Boyatzis has continued to research how people and organizations engage in sustainable, desired change. Richard was recently named one of the top ten thinkers of the century by HR Magazine.
