Sponsored by: Career Management Office

Date & Time: Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 from Noon to 3 p.m.

Are YOU the Rockstar candidate that top firms are looking for? Most people think they know networking, but Jaymin will show you how to stand out among top caliber candidates by networking like a Rockstar! Jaymin has presented The Rockstar Approach to packed rooms across the US, at schools like Wharton, Michigan, and USC. Go beyond that 8.5’ x 11’ piece of paper called a resume - Jaymin presents the must do’s and what -not-to-do’s of networking to build meaningful and lasting personal relationships in professional settings and achieve your career goals.

Background: Jaymin has presented to thousands of industry professionals and MBA students at large

fortune 500 companies and top business schools around the world working with organizations.

Jaymin has developed a “science” behind networking that is framed for the analytical mind of a graduate student and helps break down the nebulous concept of networking. He will share tips and tricks collected from dozens of MBAs and industry professionals on their journey to get their dream job

– including his own personal successes and failures as an MBA Student and MBA Recruiter.

In this workshop, Jaymin will help students:

? Clearly articulate their career goals and definition of career success

? Identify the right individuals to network with

? Understand the 11 Attributes of an Rockstar Candidate that firms are looking for

? Self –assess and determine if they are a Rockstar candidate

? Develop lasting personal relationships with influential individuals

? “Work the room” with ease and finesse at networking receptions and Career Fairs (especially in

a “circle of death” situation)

? And most importantly… Understand what NOT to do, what to do, and when.
