INFORMS 2011 Midwestern Conference
"Analytics for Competitive Advantage"
August 1-2, 2011 | Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
The Ohio State University is pleased to host the INFORMS Midwest Conference to help match the challenges of Midwestern industry with Midwestern expertise in Operations Research and Management Science (OR/MS). Come find out how OR/MS enhances competitive advantage.
INFORMS Regional Conferences provide an affordable, intimate setting close to home to discuss, learn, and brush up on current research and practice in OR/MS.
The goal of INFORMS Regional Conferences is to facilitate communication and learning among OR/MS academics, practitioners, and students around current research and applied work.
Students, faculty, and practitioners -- we strongly encourage you to attend and present! We anticipate that most attendees will come from the Midwestern U.S.; however, attendees are welcome from all parts of the U.S. and from other countries.
The conference seeks presentations from all methodological and application areas of operations research and management science. These areas include, but are not limited to: applied probability, optimization, computing, e-business and commerce, decision analysis, global manufacturing, education, healthcare applications, risk analysis, military and finance.
