The Fowler Center for Sustainable Value Celebration!

featuring Dr. Peter Senge

Please join us in celebrating Char and Chuck Fowler and the Fowler Center for Sustainable Value.  This special event will feature a discussion by Dr. Peter Senge, American scientist and director of the Center for Organizational Learning at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

The Fowler Center for Sustainable Value was established in 2008 when Char and Chuck Fowler invested in Weatherhead’s world-class future with a gift of $7.5 million. According to Chuck, "Sustainability is here to stay, and it's not just the right thing to do but it's a business innovation engine—doing good and doing well are totally and mutually reinforcing, and sustainability provides an overarching ideal and storehouse of leadership tools to make it so."

The Fowler Center leverages interdisciplinary scholarship and practice to help leaders capitalize on new profitable business opportunities to solve the world’s growing social and environmental problems. The Center works directly with all institutions to embed sustainability into their core strategy, applying cutting-edge competencies in design, innovation, whole systems, and appreciative inquiry. It is the home of the Innovation Bank and the and Global Forum for BAWB.

Fee: No

A reception will follow the ceremony. Valet parking will be available.

We thank Char and Chuck for their generosity, and for the work they make possible in business sustainability and a more productive society.
