Big 10 Information Systems Conference


The traditional annual Big 10 Information Systems Research conference will be held this year 5-7 May in Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western reserve University.  We invite all IS departments and faculty to participate in the conference by sending one Senior Faculty, one Junior Faculty and 1-2 PhD students to the events.  The program will consist of presentations by the students and faculty in the participating schools  and invited speeches and panels.

Please indicate while you register if you plan to present something during the conference!

The program this year focuses on the role and nature of design thinking in the evolution of the IS discipline. To this end we will have on keynote speech By Richard Boland and a panel in the program. The program will also feature a keynote talk by Dr. Sasi Kumar Pillay, the Chief Information Officer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John H. Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Sasi is responsible for advocating, managing, and implementing information technology investments and infrastructure at Glenn. Dr. Pillay has a broad scope of responsibility, including managing administrative telecommunications, desktop computing, and computer graphics and visualization; computer modeling and simulation; and high-end computing and networking.
