UN Global Compact Spring Symposium

A New Framework for Progress and Disclosure

All UN Global Compact members should find this event highly relevant and informative.  The symposium will feature a range of experts from organizations involved in sustainability data from a variety of perspectives, such as:  Blackrock; Goldman Sachs; PwC; Calvert; Deloitte; Bloomberg; Deloitte; CDP; Citi; Monsanto; Calvert; Framework: CR; BrownFlynn; and the UN Global Compact.

Discussions will address:

- How primary reporting initiatives, such as GRI, CDP, or IIRC, fit into the UNGC framework and how companies can maximize different frameworks under the UNGC umbrella.

- The increasing use of ESG data by investors to assess financial and economic performance, what ESG information is material for mainstream investors, and thus, expected from companies.

- How reporting is evolving in two opposite, but complementary ways- from more streamlined reporting, integrated with financial reporting, to more in--depth reporting on special issues, such as carbon and water.
