Execution: From Plan to Action

Many plans sit on shelves and are never implemented. Sometimes the plan is a bad one, but more often, it just falls through. Even though an organization shows widespread support and agreement throughout the planning process, there is no guarantee that the organization will actually do what is needed. Individuals may not take it seriously or may not know how they should act on it. Although the plan may be important, it may not be as urgent as the current crisis, and there’s always a current crisis. When it comes to implementation, obstacles abound. This workshop focuses on the key issues facing implementation managers to successfully turn a plan into action. The program combines discussion, exercises and case studies to help participants learn how to design plans with implementation in mind, how to nurture commitment and how to successfully execute them.
