Developing Managers as Leaders

As new managers make the transition from “doing” to “managing,” they must accelerate their own development in order to become effective leaders. This one-day program, adapted from Intentional Change Theory developed at Case Weatherhead School of Management, provides an essential foundation for starting a management career. Beginning with a series of experiential exercises and personal assessments, participants develop a personal vision based on the values and strengths they bring to their new role. In the afternoon, participants acquire practical knowledge and skills to handle challenges and maximize their positive impact on others. This program will equip new managers with the competence and confidence they need to excel in their new roles.
