Why did you initially sign-up for MGMT 315?

I love travel, but I am unable to study abroad for an entire semester and then graduate in 4 years. This 10-day, 3-credit course trip seemed like the perfect and affordable option for me to travel and still get the academic advantages.

Overall, what was your favorite part of the program?

The culture aspects. I loved the French food so much. I also just loved the atmosphere of France. Everything was beautiful, especially the architecture.

What was your favorite professional visit?

The Mercedes-Benz plant.

What was your favorite cultural visit?

The Ecomuseum.

Was there anything about the country or the culture that surprised you or that you didn't expect?

People brought their dogs everywhere. They brought them on the tram, walked them through stores, and even allowed them in restaurants.

Do you think MGMT 315 will benefit you professionally, if so how?

Most definitely. The workplace is becoming more and more globalized and competitive. Employers will be looking for people with experiences abroad or experiences with diverse groups.

Why would you recommend that someone participate in MGMT 315?

It is an affordable way to study abroad. You obtain 3 class credits while still being able to enjoy what the country has to offer.

Do you have any advice for someone planning to participate in MGMT 315 program?

Look up tourist activities before going abroad. Some days I felt stumped because I was unsure where to go/where to start first. Also, try learn a few basic phrases in the native language so you are able to better communicate with the locals.
