Undergraduate Minors

Our minors impart valuable knowledge and demonstrate skills than can differentiate a candidate in the eyes of employers. All minors are comprised of five courses. Whether you’re majoring in Philosophy or Finance, one of our minors can truly make you stand out from the crowd!

Weatherhead is excited to announce the newest minor in Leadership, which provides students an in-depth knowledge of the fundamental skills to lead people in organizations through a combination of theory, introspection, self-development, experiential learning, teamwork and practice. Required courses for this minor include: Leading People and Leading Organizations. Elective courses include: Leading Teams, Women in Organizations, Managing Negotiations, and Leadership in Diversity and Inclusion. Note: More detail about these courses will be included in the University's General Bulletin the summer of 2014.

The Business Management minor provides a broad business background to the nonbusiness major looking for an edge in the job market.

The Entrepreneurial Studies minor also provides a broad, solid foundation along with specialized courses for the budding entrepreneur.

Additionally, minors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Marketing each provide more in-depth and specialized knowledge to round out a student’s background.

Learn more about Weatherhead minors in the General Bulletin or contact Jim Hurley if you have questions about any of our minors.
