BA/BS degree and Master of Healthcare Management Integrated Program
Augment your undergraduate education with healthcare-specific training in management fundamentals to jumpstart a career in healthcare management.
This program would allow talented CWRU undergraduates an opportunity to finish their bachelor’s degree and their master’s degree in healthcare management (30 credits) in no more than five years. An ambitious, high-achieving student who is ahead of normal pace in their undergraduate studies might be able to complete their B.A. or B.S. along with the Master of Healthcare Management program in as little as four years combined.
The Integrated Program allows a student to “double-count” up to 9 graduate credits towards one’s B.S. or B.A.
Undergraduate students are required to have taken ECON 378 with a grade of "B" or higher to be admitted into the Master of Healthcare Integrated program
Benefits of integrated study include:
- Double-counting of courses may reduce associated tuition costs
- Double-counting of courses may reduce the Master of Healthcare course load over the student’s fifth year, providing ample time to undertake a meaningful internship experience
- Students in the Integrated Program will greatly benefit from the inclusion of MBAP 401 (Leadership Assessment and Development) at an early stage in their Healthcare Management studies
