This course provides for students who wish to study accounting at MBA level by exploring contemporary theory, developing advanced professional skills, techniques and values, especially to understand and analyze companies' financial statements.

The contents of this course include accounting concepts, business environment, accounting recording systems, and accounting for cash, receivables, inventory and plant assets. Finance and investment as well as planning and management issues are also discussed and studied in this course.

During the course, students will be encouraged to self-study, participate in classroom discussions, study cases, and systematically research some problems which they are facing in modern business management.
