Full-time STEM MBA | Weatherhead

As businesses across the US and around the world continue to evolve at an unprecedented pace, the ability to drive decisions and solutions with data and technology is key. The STEM MBA program will position you to bridge contemporary issues with technologies emerging in business such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and FinTech while also building competencies in leadership. You will also gain the tools to sustain the enterprise such as design thinking. For international students, it is an additional benefit to extend their training in the US for a total of three years without obtaining a work visa (H1-B)*.

The STEM MBA has been designed with a strong management core and approved electives concentrated in Finance, Operations, and Business Analytics. Elective courses include Quantitative Risk Modeling, Advanced Marketing Analytics, Six Sigma and Quality Management, Predictive Modeling and Artificial Intelligence.

Program Structure

The STEM MBA, is a total of 60 credit hours completed over a 21 month period. In the first year of the program, the students will complete the core requirements of the full-time STEM MBA program. In the second year of the program, students work directly their MBA program manager and faculty director to select STEM specific courses to meet their overall career objectives and goals.

All students are strongly encouraged to complete an internship – this is a very valuable experience for any student graduating with an MBA.

Admission

Ideal candidates for STEM MBA program should have

  1. Professional work experience
  2. Strong quantitative scores in GRE/GMAT and/or demonstrated quantitative ability
  3. Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and above. Prerequisite courses required for some electives
