About Master of Finance (China)

We offer our Master of Finance program in China through our collaboration with the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Tongji University. It is the first Master of Finance degree by a world-class U.S. university, offered in mainland China. Tongji University combines this offering with their MBA to form a double degree. Weatherhead School of Management

The Weatherhead School of Management is different from other business schools. We are bold in our ideas, creative in our approach, and adaptive in our interactions within a changing business environment. We've enhanced traditional management education by integrating the fundamentals of business with ideas and practices that change individuals, organizations and societies. Our graduates are ready to add immediate value to their organizations, their communities and the world.

On Case Western Reserve University’s campus, located at the heart of University Circle, students find themselves in one of the densest concentrations of educational, scientific, medical and cultural institutions in the United States. Weatherhead’s neighbors include the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and University Hospitals.

Tongji University, School of Economics & Management

Tongji University traces its history in 1907 when Tongji German Medical School was founded. The name Tongji connotes the expression, "we are in the same boat." Today Tongji boasts its strength in cross-discipline integration. We take on numerous research projects funded by national foundations as well as many major engineering management projects of the nation. One recent example is our accomplishments at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China. The Executive Committee of the World Expo paid an extraordinary compliment to us for our comprehensive and in-depth contributions by saying: “Few universities in the world can match the contributions Tongji has made or will continuously make to this World Expo.”

Tongji started business education programs in 1956. The School of Economics and Management (SEM), established in 1984, offers programs in all the major disciplines in economics and management. We were one of the pioneer schools offering the MBA program in China. SEM is acclaimed for its philosophy of developing talent through its international cooperation initiatives. Our Shanghai International MBA program with ENPC was the first in Asia to be accredited by AMBA and ranked as a top 50 international MBA program by the Financial Times (UK) in 2008 and 2009 consecutively. The EMBA program was ranked # 5 and the Best in International Features by “China’s Most Influential EMBA Forum” in 2009.
