  • Academy for Systemic Change

    This is an organization composed of international participants for the purpose of examining common systemic causal factors to marine fisheries issues, secondary education challenges, and global food systems problems. Part of our work to embed sustainability and systems thinking in K–12 education systems. Roger Saillant is one of the founding directors.

  • Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Commons

    AI was founded at Weatherhead by two of our organizational behavior professors: Ron Fry, PhD, the Chair of the Dept. of Organizational Behavior and serves as the Faculty Adviser for the Fowler Center and the Chief Editor of World Inquiry; and David Cooperrider, PhD, the Fowler Center’s Faculty Director and is the Fairmount Minerals Professor of Social Entrepreneurship.

  • Ask Nature

    We use ‘Ask Nature’ to help organizations see how nature’s design answers can help solve human problems.

  • BAWB Brazil

    BAWB Brazil is modeled after Business as an Agent of World Benefit, the Fowler Center’s previous name, and seeks to spread sustainable practices through scholarship and outreach in Brazil. We maintain close ties with the work being done there.

  • Biomimicry Institute

    Resource that helps us to help organizations observe nature to model solutions to human problems.

  • Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

    We encourage organizations to report on their sustainability metrics to CDP, to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and/or to the UN Global Compact (UNGC).

  • Cleveland Green Drinks

    To provide gatherings for Northeast Ohio's leaders to share their passion for sustainability, make connections for collaboration, find jobs, and socialize.

  • Corporate Sustainability Roundtable

    We are an active member of this important forum for the exchange of best practices in sustainability for organizations in NE Ohio.

  • Ecosystem Services Partnership

    A network organization that connects researchers and practitioners to implement best practices for managing ecosystem services to maintain and enhance our Natural Capital.

  • Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

    We encourage organizations to report on their sustainability metrics to GRI, to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and/or to the UN Global Compact (UNGC). The Fowler Center is proud to be a GRI Organization Stakeholder, a network from 60 countries committed to advancing sustainability reporting.

  • Green City Blue Lake Institute at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History

    Thought partner striving to explore, live and transform NE Ohio and beyond into thriving, sustainable regions.

  • IDEO

    IDEO is the lead design organization working under contract with the Fowler Center for the purpose of outlining a global process for nominating, selecting, and recognizing exemplars to receive a prize for sustainable value.

  • The Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME)

    Started at our 2006 Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit and we report every two years.

  • Society for Organizational Learning (SoL)

    Peter Senge, PhD, director of the Center for Organizational Learning at the MIT Sloan School of Management is the founder and serves on our Advisory Board. Roger Saillant works closely with SoL in many capacities; most recently he has been on the Interim Council and served as the treasurer. SoL is a learning resource devoted to the interdependent development of people and their institutions in service of inspired performance and meaningful results.

  • SOMO Leadership Labs

    We support this intentional effort to create positive leadership in Cleveland and beyond by promoting social and emotional leadership. We have co-created events together and believe that SOMO, based in positive psychology, is already changing culture.

  • Spirit of Leadership

    We utilize this experiential learning resource which works with horses and nature to teach leadership, enhance team performance, and creates organizational spirit and personal discovery.

  • Sustainable Cleveland 2019 (SC 2019)

    SC 2019 is a client. We work together to design the yearly conference that is the heart beat of the emerging plan to re-create Cleveland and make it a sustainable and thriving region.

  • UN Global Compact (UNGC)

    We encourage organizations to report on their sustainability metrics to UNGC, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). We served as Secretariat of the US Network of the UNGC from 2007–2012.
