Announcing 2019 retiring faculty

The Weatherhead School of Management is celebrating the legacy and commitment of three faculty members who are retiring this year: Leon Blazey, Jr., Fred Collopy and Steven Feldman.

The three dedicated professors have achieved multiple accomplishments during their time at Weatherhead.

twenty in their 20s

Congratulations to three Weatherhead alumni who were selected for Crain’s Cleveland Business’ Twenty in their 20s:

This year’s class includes active, driven young professionals who will help steer the course of Northeast Ohio into the future.

ONE-DAY DONOR RECORD

Thank you to all who participated in CWRU Day of Giving. Weatherhead surpassed its single-day donor record, with 244 individuals making a gift to the Weatherhead Annual Fund.

David Cooperrider keynotes conference on happiness
David Cooperrider, faculty director for the Fowler Center and professor of organizational behavior, was the keynote speaker at the Happiness and its Causes 2019 in Sydney, Australia. 

In his keynote, Cooperrider discussed how corporate citizenship is not only about satisfying external stakeholders, it is core to individual flourishing and organizational success inside the workplace.

Vicenta C. Gaspar-Yoo, M.D., EMBA '11, was recently named President of Allegheny Valley Hospital. Previously, Gaspar-Yoo was at University Hospitals Health System where she served in dual capacities as System Physician Advisor and System Physician Lead for HRM Observation Improvement. Read more.

Cristian Sandoval, EMBA '08, was recently named Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
