NEW STEERING COMMITTEE ADVISES ON BOWERS ECONOMIC FORECAST LUNCHEON

We are pleased to announced the formation of a permanent steering committee established to advise the school’s leadership on the legacy and tradition, as well as potential speakers and sponsors, of one of Weatherhead’s premier annual events, the David A. Bowers Economic Forecast Luncheon. The committee, formed at the invitation of Dean Rob Widing, will include standing representation from Weatherhead administration, faculty, esteemed alumni and members of the Case Western Reserve Corporate Visiting Committee.

scott shane ranked highest among top entrepreneurial researchers 
 
In a recent study in the New England Journal of Entrepreneurship, authors identified Scott Shane, PhD, A. Malachi Mixon III Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and professor of economics at the Weatherhead School of Management, as ranking highest among research scholars in the field of entrepreneurship.

 
 
 
michael goldberg serves on cnbc's disruptor 50 advisory council
 
Michael Goldberg, assistant professor of design & innovation, was one of 34 leading academics in innovation and entrepreneurship that ranked the criteria used to determine who of the 750 made the list of the top 50 companies that have the potential to impact multiple multibillion-dollar industries.

Cooperrider, PhD, as a Distinguished University Professor, a title that acknowledges the outstanding contributions of full-time, tenured professors with a distinguished academic record of extraordinary research, scholarship, teaching and service. Cooperrider is the Fairmount Santrol-David L. The Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change (MPOD) program celebrated 40 years together with over 100 faculty, staff and alumni July 1-3, 2016.

Originally the Master of Science in Organization Development (MOD), the MOD/MPOD 40th Anniversary Celebration was a weekend-long recognition of “Our Roots, Our Impact, Our Edge.” The program enrolled its first cohort in 1975. Read More
