Python is a popular programming language and is used by all sorts of companies. It has many advantages: it is free, easy to learn, fast to learn and very versatile. This course will teach you how to read, write and understand Python scripts. You will learn good coding conventions, and be introduced to relevant resources and tools. We will move past the basics of procedural programming and explore how we can use the Python built-in data structures such as lists, dictionaries, and tuples to perform increasingly complex data analysis and we will utilize many libraries to do advanced scientific analysis, as well as data structuring and data analysis.
