Srinivas leads the Digital and Emerging Payments team at Amazon, located in Seattle, Washington. Srinivas is an experience product and technology leader with over 20 years of experience leading teams in eCommerce and Payment domains.
In his current role, Srinivas is responsible for Amazon's payments in multiple emerging countries including Asia Pacific (APAC), Middle East (MENA) and Latin America. He has been with Amazon since 2005 when he joined as Sr. Product Manager at Amazon Web Services in Seattle and moved into different roles of increasing responsibility across Amazon's many businesses and locations. He set up and managed Amazon's payments team in India (2012- 2016) before returning to Seattle in his current role.
Prior to Amazon, Srinivas spent 6 years in multiple companies in the Silicon Valley as a product management lead at Cisco and with a startup as the Product Marketing head.
Srinivas graduated with an MBA from Weatherhead School of Management (1999). He also has a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Baltimore, Maryland and Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, India.
Srinivas has been an active member of the Case Western Reserve Alumni Association in various leadership roles. Srinivas was the chapter lead for the Bay Area Chapter in 2002- 2005 and the Puget Sound Chapter in 2007- 2009. He was actively involved in the re-initiation of the Case Western Reserve Alumni Association and served his first term as a Board Member from 2008 -2010 including as Secretary in 2009-10. Currently, he is serving his second term on the Case Alumni Association (2020 - 2023).
