Charlie Visconsi is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley serving as co-head of the 85 person Public Finance Department. He has worked at Morgan Stanley for 15 years.
Before his current position, Charlie worked as lead banker on over $25 billion of senior-managed transactions as well as over $3 billion of interest rate swaps. His major clients include the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the New Jersey Turnpike. In addition, he has worked with a wide variety of higher education issuers including Case Western Reserve University, the University of Dayton, the University of Akron, Rutgers University and Johns Hopkins University.
Charlie is a leader in the municipal market serving as lead banker on the New Jersey Turnpike’s $1.75 billion financing in 2009 — the first benchmark Build America financing in the market. Additionally, he was lead banker on the $963 million Dulles Toll Road financing which won the Bond Buyer’s 2009 “Deal of the Year.”
Charlie received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, and his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He lives with his wife and three children (ages 10, 8 and 5) in Bronxville, NY. He is an avid NY Rangers, Indians, and Browns fan as well as enjoys playing golf to his 10 handicap and playing squash.
