Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Musuem
This state of the art musuem, designed by world-famous architect, I. M. Pei, is a gorgeous addition to the lakefront. Go down and spend the whole day!!

Events
Cleveland Grand Prix
Cleveland has hosted this race for 15 years and it gets better every year. If you're a race fan, it's a must-see event!!!

CVS 5K and Marathon
This is a great race which brings runners from around the world, while it isn't Boston or New York--we did have a WORLD RECORD set for the 5K here.

Music Concerts
Don't forget this is the Rock and Roll capital--Just take a look at the list of current shows coming to Cleveland!!!

Rib Cook-Off
Don't eat for a week and come on down to this annual event held every Memorial day weekend. Restaurants from around the world arrive to show off their special sauces for good old BBQ'd pig and beef.

Cleveland Air-Show
Since the planes will probably wake you up in your dorm room this weekend, you might as well go down to Burke Lakefront Airport and view the cavalcade of old fighters and planes on display. The big finale is usually a show of aerial stunts by the world famous Blue Angels!!!

Sports
Major League Baseball: Cleveland Indians
The most exciting team in baseball, playing in one of the best stadiums, and from one of the best towns!

National League Football: Cleveland Browns
They were here for over sixty years, and now they are back after a three year hiatus with a new owner, new stadium and the same great Cleveland fans!!

National Basketball Association: Cleveland Cavaliers
Always a force in the tough Central Division, playing right downtown in Gund Arena.

Nightlife
The Flats
This is Cleveland's largest tourist attraction!! Located right downtown on the river, this three mile stretch of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and comedy clubs is always Cleveland's hottest spot.

Microbreweries
Cleveland has a storied past of being the city with the most bars per capita; and, with the recent rise in popularity of "micro-brewed" beers, Cleveland is still a leader. With the Award-Winning Great Lakes Brewery and the Crooked River Brewery, Cleveland's beer holds its own against any city's!!

Coffee Houses
Since it seems everybody on TV (and real life), like FRIENDS and FRASIER, are ordering up "double decaf lattes" and "triple moccachinos with cinnamon", Cleveland has not fallen behind the times. There are coffee houses everywhere, led by the Cleveland fave, Arabica. They even have a shoppe on campus, so your caffine fix can always be handled!!

Amusement Parks
If you like the excitement of amusement parks, then Cleveland has two of the best. From the rides and coasters at Cedar Point to the rides and SeaWorld at Geauga Lake, you will find enough excitement to last you all year.

Cinema
Due to some prominent CWRU alums, Cleveland has emerged as the leading cinema hotbed between New York and Chicago. Along with basic Hollywood releases, Cleveland features an excellent menu of alternative film choices to broaden your mind, culminating with the Cleveland International Film Festival every year in March.
