Gilly’s Not Just Donuts

The best donuts in town!  Really.  All the donuts here are made fresh daily and they’re absolutely fantastic!  A great idea for a late night outing.

Guarino’s

One of the oldest restaurants in Little Italy, this family-owned place serves up traditional dishes that Little Italy visitors are accustomed to.  Servings could be a little larger and the prices could be a little lower.

La Dolce Vita - La Dolce Vita goes more for atmosphere than for true Italian cuisine’s. And in this they succeed. Monday night is Opera Night. Go see the Flamenco Dancers every Tuesday. Nightly specials tend to be better than the menu items.  On Mayfield Road in the heart of Little Italy.

Mama Santa’s - Some say this is the place! Mama’s is a Cleveland institution. Where else can you go and enjoy a large pizza with a few toppings and two beers for under ten bucks?  Nowhere.  On Mayfield Road in the heart of Little Italy.

Presti’s Bakery and Café

The main bakery in Little Italy offers nearly everything that you could imagine.  Pretty much everything is good and should be tried at least once while you’re in Cleveland.  On Mayfield Road in the heart of Little Italy.

Trattoria – One of the most reasonably-priced restaurants in Little Italy, Trattoria on the Hill has wonderful food. The seafood fettuccini is quite the rage, as well as the gnocchi, veal, and the freshly-made tomato salsa that comes out before every meal.  Cassata cakes so tasty and cheap that your mother would wonder how they did it.  Do try the mocha cheesecake. Live opera singers on Friday and Saturday nights.  On Mayfield Road in the heart of Little Italy.

Valentino’s

Known for their cheap pizzas and pastas that are mainly ordered and carried out.  A fresh pizza right out of the oven at Valentino’s is truly a marvel of modern food science.  Located on Murray Hill next to the fraternity houses on the south side of campus.
