Loan Information

The Case University Financial Aid Office processes all loans for students of the Weatherhead School of Management. The financial aid application can be completed on-line and you may also check your application status and award information on-line.

Stafford Federal Loan: You may receive up to $18,500/academic year if you are a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident and are registered at least half-time (6 hrs. in the Fall or Spring; 3 hrs. in the Summer). This loan is not dependent on need, although up to $8500 can be interest-free while in school for those who demonstrate need and meet other requirements. Note: The Case Financial Aid Application requires the Selective Service registration number for all male students born in 1960 and after. To obtain your registration number call: 1-888-655-1825.

• Perkins Federal Loan: If you have need beyond the Stafford Loan, you may be eligible to receive this loan and will be notified if eligible. Loan amounts vary depending on availability.
• Case Signature Loan: You may borrow up to the cost of attendance with this loan if you are approved by the lender after a credit review.

If you are registered for less than half-time or pursuing non-degree coursework, you may also apply for this loan. International students may also apply for this loan with a credit-worthy co-borrower who provides applicable INS documentation.
