For close to half a century, the Weatherhead School has been characterized by our belief in bold ideas that set us apart from any other business school in the world. Weatherhead is driven not only to find new solutions, but also to anticipate future challenges. This quest to challenge convention has led to many ground-breaking initiatives that define the Weatherhead Experience. In fact, Weatherhead was the first business school to:
Introduce leadership assessment and development in its MBA curriculum in order to ensure that students' personal effectiveness skills are as outstanding as their critical thinking skills;

Establish graduate disciplines in Organizational Behavior and Operations Research;

Create a Health Systems Management Center developed jointly by the Schools of Management and Medicine; and

Offer a professional degree program focused on the unique management needs of nonprofit organizations in partnership with the Schools of Management, Applied Sciences and Law.
