David Cooperrider, Ph.D.

Dr. Cooperrider created Appreciative Inquiry, a revolutionary methodology for achieving sustainable, desired, strength-based change, in collaboration with Dr. Ronald Fry, over twenty years ago. He has used the Appreciative Inquiry methodology to advance initiatives at various organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Parker Hannifin and the US Navy. Dr. Cooperrider received ASTD's highest award for "distinguished contribution to the field" of organizational learning in 2004. He was named by the Aspen Institute as the 2007 Faculty Pioneer for his impact in the field of sustainability.
