Certificates - Weatherhead Executive Coaching

The Weatherhead Executive Coaching Certificate guides participants through a sequence of learning experiences that contribute to personal leadership development, and it provides practical coaching skills for inspiring the leadership development of others.  Emotional Intelligence (EI), a proven, comprehensive model of the competencies that form the essential core for great leadership, provides the basis for Weatherhead’s approach to leadership development.

The underlying principles and learning outcomes of the certificate are grounded in Intentional Change Theory. The work of faculty member Richard Boyatzis, Ph.D., the Intentional Change Process is substantiated by research to describe how adults change their behavior in desired, sustainable ways.  Executives trained in the Weatherhead Executive Coaching approach learn how to leverage the intentional change process to authentically and effectively support others in achieving their leadership and performance aspirations.

Coursework for the Certificate:

A certificate is awarded after completion of each of the three (3) required courses plus one (1) elective.

Cost of Certificate:

Registration

To register online for the entire certificate, please select four (4) of the appropriate classes listed above. We will automatically track your progress towards completion of your certificate. Alternatively, you can register by phone at 216-368-6413. You have 18 months to complete any of our leadership, management, or functional knowledge certificates.

Receipt of Certificate

Certificates will be automatically produced and sent out to participants who have completed the requirements twice a year. Participants can expect to receive certificates in December/January or June/July after the completion of their courses.

Hay Certification for the Boyatzis & Goleman ESCI

The Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) by Richard Boyatzis, Ph.D., and Daniel Goleman, Ph.D., is a multi-rater tool designed to assess emotional and social intelligence competencies. Weatherhead Executive Education is pleased to present the accreditation program led by Senior Hay Group Consultant Bonnie Mueller.
