Certificates - Mindfulness for Enhanced Performance

The practice of "being mindful" helps us develop fresh perspective and the ability to respond creatively and effectively in the dynamic environment of today's workplace.  Across a range of contexts, mindfulness offers proven approaches to improve focus, creativity, and health; decrease stress; transform tension into opportunity; break automatic habits; and live more fulfilled lives.  

This Certificate Program helps participants understand and start to master mindfulness techniques at work. Based on our knowledge of adult learning, this sequential program builds on previous courses to create an ideal platform for deep learning of mindfulness techniques and how to practice them in specific work contexts.

Coursework for the Certificate:

A certificate is awarded after completion of each of the one (1) required two-day course plus two (2) electives. In the case of two-day programs, participants should attend both days and these courses will fulfill two (2) of the four (4) class day requirement. Certificate requirements should be completed within an 18-month period.

Please note: discount codes for certificates are invalidated upon the cancellation of any program for which the discount code was applied.  This is excepted only when an appropriate substitute class is applied at the time of cancellation.  Improperly applied discounts (e.g. non-profit applied incorrectly) or  improperly applied discount codes (e.g. code applied for less classes than required) may be invalidated at the sole discretion of CWRU and Weatherhead’s Executive Education department.   In all cases where the discount or discount code is invalidated, the discounted amount becomes due immediately.

Registration

To register online for the entire certificate, please select three (3) of the appropriate classes listed above. We will automatically track your progress towards completion of your certificate. Alternatively, you can register by phone at 216-368-6413. You have 18 months to complete any of our leadership, management, or functional knowledge certificates. Also please be aware that a program can only be applied toward the requirements of one certificate.

Receipt of Certificate

Certificates will be automatically produced and sent out to participants who have completed the requirements twice a year. Participants can expect to receive certificates in December/January or June/July after the completion of their courses.
