Welcome to the Department of Operations website. In these pages you will find information about the research and our graduate programs in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management. The department has a long history as a center of education and scholarship in operations and granted the world's first doctorate in Operations Research. Our students come from diverse regions of the U.S. and other countries, and their concentrations reflect the range of faculty research and teaching interests. You will read more about us in other pages at this site, and see that some clusters of interests are supply chain management, mathematical programming, stochastic optimization, computational finance, and scheduling.
