United Nations Global Compact Event

Posted 03/01/2007

The United Nations Global Compact is a framework for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. It offers ten universally accepted principles  - first introduced at a Weatherhead-sponsored conference last year - to guide business activities around the world, and seeks to catalyse actions in support of broad UN goals.

Now, we are establishing the Northeastern Ohio Network of the United Nations Global Compact. Please join us and other regional leaders at the introductory meeting, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the George S. Dively Building.
