Distinguished Alumnus Award Winner 2006

Sam Srinivasan, M.B.A. 1973, is the 2006 Distinguished Alumnus award winner.  Srinivasan, particularly noted for his ongoing service as a model to Weatherhead’s M.B.A. students, has remained involved at the School and Case Western Reserve University in many ways since his graduation. He is a charter member of the Weatherhead School Advisory Council, and also serves as a member of the School’s Management Visiting Committee. Srinivasan is the founder and chairman emeritus of Health Language, Inc., the worldwide leader in the development, delivery and marketing of software that reduces the complexity in incorporating medical vocabulary and coding standards into healthcare information technology (HCIT) applications.

The Weatherhead School of Management Alumni Association Distinguished Alumnus Award is presented to an alumnus of Weatherhead who has a record of distinguished career accomplishments, in addition to a demonstration of a strong commitment to the community, through leadership in community organizations and philanthropic activities.
