New! Leading the Growth Enterprise

Posted 10/16/2006

The business community is eagerly anticipating the start of Weatherhead's new program, Leading the Growth Enterprise: An Executive Experience for Leaders of Growing Businesses.   This 6-month intensive learning and business coaching process will focus on developing entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve results and take their existing business to the next level of achievement and success.  Weatherhead faculty, including Richard Osborne, Betty Vandenbosch and Scott Fine, lead the curriculum with Executive Director Ron Fountain

Curriculum includes 10 in-person group sessions on site at Case that are designed as intensive, fast-track learning in leadership development and business development strategies, as well as special sessions that focus on legal, tax and ethical issues.  It also includes an action learning project which the entrepreneur selects based on a particular business obstacle or opportunity. Throughout the 6-month process, business leaders will receive personal business coaching from an experienced coach, consultant or practitioner who offers extensive business planning and problem-solving expertise. Based on Weatherhead’s success with action learning in other programs, including the Executive MBA, this process is projected to yield a value of 5-10 times the overall program investment to the entrepreneur’s business.

Due to the intensive learning culture and one-on-one coaching process within the Program, enrollment is limited and filling up fast.  For more information and to apply on-line, please visit http://weatherhead.case.edu/exed/ent/, or contact Jennifer Carr at 216/368-0017.
