This school year has begun with strong student interest in clubs. The Club Presidents have done a great job thus far to satiate student interest with a bevy of events ranging from kick-off meetings to career panels.

The first weeks of classes were used by Weatherhead Women in Business, the Marketing Club, the Finance and Investment Club, Net Impact and the Entrepreneurship Venture Association to hold kick-off meetings to recruit new members, introduce their leaders, and propose ideas for events. Some new groups for the Weatherhead community are testing student interest as well this year. The Intramural Sports Group, Weatherhead Health and Wellness Group, and the Weatherhead Christian Business Fellowship have all tried to determine student demand for activities that hadn’t previously been represented at the school. Both the Intramural Sports Group and the Weatherhead Christian Fellowship held kick-off meetings and the Health and Wellness Group held an outdoor Tai-Chi class.

  • A Career Roundtable Discussion sponsored by the Multi-Cultural MBA Association on September 22nd from 12 to 1pm
  • A Consulting Career Track presented by Gallup Consulting and sponsored by the Consulting Club on September 22nd from 12 to 1pm
  • A Healthcare Career Panel sponsored by the Health Systems Management and Bioscience Club on September 22nd from 4:30 to 6:30 pm
  • A Potluck Dinner sponsored by the Weatherhead Women in Business on September 22nd beginning at 8pm
  • A Finance Career Panel sponsored by the Finance and Investment Club on September 26th from 5 to 6 pm
  • Pilates sponsored by the Health and Wellness Group on September 28th from 12 to 1 pm
  • A Case Interviewing Workshop led by AT Kearney and sponsored by the Consulting Club on September 29th from 10:30 to 12 pm
