Faculty, Students, and Alumni Attend 66th Annual Academy of Management Meeting

Many Weatherhead faculty, students, and alumni attended the 2006 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, held August 11-16 in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual event brings together management scholars and intellectual capital from all over the world for presentations and discussions of pertinent management issues. Titled Knowledge, Action and the Public Concern, this year’s meeting focused on identifying and exploring common threads between organizational knowledge, managerial response, and major issues facing the world.

Weatherhead participants represented a broad spectrum of the Weatherhead community and academic departments, including Information Systems, Organizational Behavior, Management Policy, Marketing, and Operations.
