In keeping with the Weatherhead School of Management's tagline, "Bold Ideas. Lasting Impact," the first Bold Thinkers event of the academic year will be held on November 30th and is presented by Calfee, Halter and Griswold, LLP.

We're very pleased to announce that John Nottingham and John Spirk will be featured as the Weatherhead Bold Thinkers for the fall semester.  John Nottingham and John Spirk are the co-founders and co-presidents of Nottingham-Spirk Design Associates, one of the leading new product invention and development groups in the US. It is responsible for the creation of hundreds of successful products with over 400 commercialized patents. Combined sales of products created by Nottingham-Spirk exceed 30 billion dollars.

John Nottingham and John Spirk received their Industrial Design degrees in 1972 from the Cleveland Institute of Art. They both serve on the Boards of Trustees for the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Institute of Art, University Circle, Inc. and SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise). In addition, John Spirk is the Chairman of the Architectural Review Board of Gates Mills, OH, and John Nottingham is Vice Chairman of the Board of the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Mark your calendar for this free event to be held on November 30, 2005 at the George S. Dively Building from 4:30 - 5:30 pm.  Sign-in for the event begins at 4:00 pm.
