Business as an Agent of World Benefit - A Call of Our Time

Posted 10/17/2005

Join us for a fascinating discussion by Dr. David Cooperrider, Professor of Organizational Behavior, co-creator of Appreciative Inquiry and founder of The Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, in which he will raise these important questions:

  • Is it possible that the 21st century can become a time when the dynamism of business is aligned with the global agenda for constructive change?
  • Is it possible to envision an inclusive capitalism in which the corporate sector prospers by engaging previously excluded voices, concerns and interests to catalyze a truly sustainable form of world development?
  • Isn’t management education a matter of world affairs?

Dr. Cooperrider will speak Monday, October 17, 2005 from 7:30 – 9:30 am at the George S. Dively Building (on the Case Campus), 11240 Bellflower Road as part of Weatherhead's Breakfast Series.
