Dr. Taylor comes to Weatherhead from Creighton University, where he was a member of the faculty since 2002. Additionally, he has held appointments at Brigham Young University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Taylor’s research interests focus primarily in the area of auditing. He has performed studies in auditor independence, audit pricing, auditor industry specialization, and forensic auditing. As a current member of the Auditing Standards Board, Taylor’s work has appeared in the top auditing research journals, including Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Accounting Horizons, and the International Journal of Auditing.
